About
DSA is here to serve dance students and their ever-changing needs within our bounds! We are the offical student goverment of the dance department in AMPD at YorkU. Elected each year with the common goal of making a more positive, fun and strong community of dancers at York University! We offer workshops, events, and merchandise to our students as well as we represent the needs and voices of our student body within the faculty of our department as well.
Message From Our Presidents

Our goals for this year and beyond are to curate a strong community inside and out of the studios. We want to lead a group of people that inspire the student body to thrive in the present moment and in their future careers. The collaboration between the student body and ourselves is important to us as an association and we are eager to learn from them as we continue in this role. We are honoured to be able to represent such a vast community of dancers. We hope to implement all of your ideas, thoughts and suggestions in our community and can’t wait to learn more about our student body!

Note from Kristina: I am so happy and excited to be on this journey as DSA’s Co-President with Grace Kuster. I have always had a calling to inspire, collaborate and support the students of the dance department and I am so grateful to have this opportunity. We truly can’t wait to see what the future holds for the Dance Students’ Association
Note from Grace: I originally joined DSA in my first year. I was a representative for my class and the experience opened my eyes to how we can connect throughout different years, as a community, and as peers. It inspired me to push towards a larger leadership role, which is why I’m here today as Kristina’s Co-President.
